President
The current
President of The Easingwold Singers is Lynne Dawson. Lynne kindly accepted
the invitation to become our President in 2002. She lives in the local
area and is very
supportive of The Easingwold Singers.
Lynne
is established as one of Britain's most versatile and popular sopranos
and enjoys
a busy career which combines concerts and recitals with frequent recordings
and opera
productions. Lynne is also well known for her performance of Libera me
from Verdi’s
Requiem at Princess Diana’s funeral in September 1997.
